This Little Light ...
~*Marge Tindal*~

Today I needed a light to shine
amid these troubled times
I found it in the hearts of children
deeply lit within hearts and minds

A smile that came from a child
who lost as much as I did, no doubt
Found a light to touch my wick
as I thought mine had gone out

Jacob, Kellie, Sarah and Bradley
were there with wings a'flapping
Offering me a light for my candle
when I felt my faith was lacking

So I take the love they offer
the prayers, the precious smiles
I'll share my light with all in need
across many a worldly mile

*Today I felt the need to be with the children of my mentoring group ...
They gave me more than enough joy to fill my bucket.
Jacob said, 'Ms. Marge, next time bring a smile !'
And I promised I would~

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

Marge,
You always know how to shine the light and
hold it so that we can see it too...and as
you know that light shines eternally in the
heart and soul of children.  Thank you for
this uplifting poem...to shine a little
light on us~

We never shine brighter than when we shine for others. Thanks for reminding us that the healing will come as we lose ourselves in the needs of others around us. You're shining brighter than you think you are, Marge. (((HUGS)))

Marge-
What better place to find comfort than

Marge,  this was beautiful.  For all of you that don't know this.......I am the manager of a daycare and I work with children everyday. I do it because I love it and because I have also found the love and light in children.  Working with children is the most healing therapy for me.  With all of my "problems" going on right now,  No matter how down I am....when I go into work and I see the smile on a childs face and receive a hug from that one special child( yes I know....all children are special but there are a few that tug on your heartstrings a little more than others) anyway,  no matter how depressed, angry, or hurt I am feeling...one look into a childs eyes makes all the pain go away.  It really does.  Children are amazing that way.  They have nothing but love in their heart.  We could all learn alot from children.
