the place where me meets "me"--
aware, the war,
my dignity...

and still there is no holy grail...
No cup of blood of wisdom's wail.
Pay the piper. Dance again.
But how can we not meet? Pretend?
Are we all still yet removed--
I could not see the "you" in YOU?

Tell me--we might yet be friends--
as we read the last page end...
Revelations all portend--
tell me--we'll begin again.
