Lets resume our lives once more, and post our poetry, normally again. Lets write about, our usual things, unlike, this past week has been. Let's lay to rest, the horror, and pain Our endurance, surely a test. I've cried and hurt, and so have you, now it's time,to just let it rest. Nothing we say,or ever do, can bring back those, that have died. We have to live,as we always have. So in our hearts, they can abide. I want to read,a love poem again. I want to laugh,at the antics displayed here. I want our lives,to be on going with life. NEVER FORGETTING, but living without fear. If you can't make it so, |

As a person living in New York I don't think that I'll ever forget this situation, but, I would like to get past it by seeing more upbeat poetry on this site. As my borough has always stated- Do or Die. |

Domzi, Living so close to the tragedy will be a constant reminder for you I am sure, but given time we all will adjust to these changes in our life. I do agree with you...we need more upbeat poetry here to help us all to get past this. We all grieve in our own way and I personally need to let this go. I'll never forget it, but we do need to find a place for this to rest. Thanks for reading and responding. My very best to you, my friend!
