Can we find answers?
Where there is so much pain and dust?
Can we look for the answers?
The questions of our hearts
The answers we have been looking for,
Do you think we can find the answer?
Answers ,
what we been looking for,
The questions we have been asking for?
The reasons we have,
The light we see through,
It will might take time
to heal our hearts away
untill we find an answer
for the heart,
Answers........

Yes, Vandana, we all, in our own ways, are crying out for answers. Along with the thousands who died on Tuesday, so died something else, our sense of security that may be gone forever. Is that good or bad? For me right now it feels very very bad. A fast moving shadow passed by my window this morning and I jumped. It was probably just a bird flying by. I would never even have noticed it before. Good can come of it if we can somehow learn to protect the masses from senseless acts of terrorism. Is that even possible? What kind of world will our children and grandchildren inherit? Do any of us even have control over it?  Why is there such hatred in the world that leads to such acts of terrorism? What makes these people tick? Why have these nations that breed hate been allowed for so long to go unchallenged, or if not unchallenged, challenged in any meaningful way? Why were we not protected from this terror that came at us, when most of us knew something disastrous would happen again? What else is going to happen for which we won't be prepared? Will we now stop underestimating these madmen? Why are some of us able to smile and laugh and go on while others can barely make it through the day? Why do people who don't believe in God blame God for atrocities born in the hearts of evil men? These and other questions keep rolling around in my mind. All I know for sure is that I don't have any answers and all I want to do is sleep. Struggling for answers to so many questions that I can't answer leaves me exhausted.

VanDana~
It's hard ... really hard to find answers ...
when we really didn't understand the questions.

Thank you for sharing~
