And at the end of the day
my mind rewinds
and replays
the time I spent with you
giving me a smile
as I lay me down
and reflect a while
recalling what
you said to me
etching softly
in my memory
reminding me
there is no forever
not the perfect kind
but there are those times
that feel perfect
that you know
will stay in your heart
while you erase the rest…………
