We now come to you From the fields of battles torn You picked me up and took me home Wherever darkness clouded liberty You came along and helped my dignity As hunger and disease struck You gave me your bread and blood I now gather all you have helped We will come, we will come To support you and wipe away hatred We now come to you Because we have all forgotten To thank you for the past and our future We are coming, we are coming Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |
