Reflections

A reflection. Mirror image portrayed to my optics,
Details all important, even the microscopic.
Mental anguishes. Internal and external exposed…
A lot gathered from the familiar image that is shown.

A Reflection…. A retrospect of past present and future
Watching the aging as my youth deteriorates to ruin.

Looking back at me in the mirror is a lifeless figure
Who is this person is see? He’s no one I can remember.

Naked the soul stands.. Exposed to danger
Damaged by people, family, and strangers

Reflections…. Mirror images of my former self
Looking back in the mirror is a stranger..
An image of someone else.

sometimes its hard to recognize yourself, seeing yourself in a mirror without the innerself isn't easy, but needed to explore.
