Your Perfected Art Remember that day with skies of gray when you turned to say how you loved me? And there in our bed, lifting your head, you asked me to wed ‘cause you loved me. Then as the winds whined, our limbs entwined and brightly you shined as you loved me. You gave me a smile in your own style, with laughter and guile, for you loved me. Remember our fun under the sun, that feeling so young when you loved me? And walking the lane, even in rain, I never felt plain while you loved me. Then barely a trace cracked thru your face of some other place, but you loved me. Yet now here I grieve; still can’t believe that I saw you leave, if you loved me. Like perfected art, you took my heart then tore it apart... and I loved you. [This message has been edited by Topheth (edited 09-11-2001).] |

ouch.... painful to give and feel love then have it taken away through perhaps no fault of your own... |
