If I have to go alone-- I promise you--I'm going home. If I have to go by two? Pray that one of them be you. And three? No, that would please me none-- we have a daughter AND a son. Four is all that is can be-- From south, to west, to north to east... We do this all as one, or NOT. No lessons now shall be forgot. All of my party you despised conceived confetti in your eyes. Please don't claim that I pushed you. You see my eyes. You see the truth. I did not force you from this land. We jumped the cliff--holding hands. |

Serenity, the thoughts you expressed here are ones that I have engaged in, myself. I appreciate the feelings here, and sadness is ok today......thank you for this one The road goes on forever, and the stories never end... |

I see this was written before the tragedy and I'm crying knowing I saw yesterday on the news that two people jumped from the World Trade Center holding hands....oh God..... Kathleen |

Thanks to all--and to clear up any confustion, yes, Kathleen this was written BEFORE the horrors of yesterday's acts of madness. This is a simple personal viewpoint of a relationship full of bad habits---that it took TWO guilty parties--and that's all. The metaphor of two holding hands to jump from a cliff is just that--a metaphor. In no way is this a reference to the mass murder that occurred in New York. My apologies for any confusion. And for the time being, my muse has been replaced by CNN--I will be back to read, write, and reply soon. Hugs to all and may prayers find you and yours well and safe.  |
