* I was hiding in the shade when the world was made, and watched the Man at work, spitting in the dirt, making images of clay on that uneventful day. And when His week was done, turning to go home, I heard Him speak to warn the figures He had formed: "Kids, beware the Asp, and stay from out his grasp."
