Happiness.

The years have passed by
The heavens above still rain
Turning seasons into harvest
Each morning is the coming of the sun
And the evening's moon still light the sky
In a far away memory in silence
Everyday returns for an answer

Happiness was a cloud of torment
In a short remember of childhood
Moments come to shed a tear
Repeating, what is of happiness
Tis' glorious times of laughter
Of butterflies and flower,
Tis' of rainbow on a sunny day
Of children running, hiding, jumping
Tis' of sunrise on the horizon
Of mountains and snowcaps
Tis' of achievement and smiling parent
Of adolescence finding love
Tis' the tall trees of the rainforest
Of sounds of birds in habitat
Tis' of freedom from hunger
Of the smell of frying on a sunday
Tis' of the bells of marriage
Of a lifelong of togetherness
Tis' of cures from ills
Of coming home from war's hills
Tis' of no unanswered questions
Of no pain in the shattered heart
Tis' of hope on the first of spring
Of the need for love's touch
Tis' of the hope of dream

And when the night falls
Happiness closes the chapter
Of the dreams that were realised
For a smile is knowing love was around

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Daniel, I love this! The littest thing can bring such happiness to someone. I am happy right this minute because I just read an excellent poem : )
