Unloved by Michael He sits within the solitude of night, unloved. The wee hours are but thundering ticks and tocks, nothing more. No hands reach for his. No heart longs to touch his own. No loving whispers are to be heard, nor tender sighs upon his pillow, only sprinkled tears. His nights are drowned, hoping for dreamless sleep to somehow ease the hurt, the loneliness. A loving man that is not loved. Years have come and gone, will come and go, but will be filled with empty nights, an empty bed, a forlorn heart and not "I love you" to be heard or said.
