Today, my friends, I beg of you,
please put your hands together,
in whatever prayer pose
it takes to make it better.
If it's just a simple wish,
or even some slight sympathy,
I'll beg of you,
help make it true
and bring my mother home to me.

I know. I want to give her time.
But time is just not on her side.
And time is not a friend of mine
and Hell is paved with pride.

So my friends, please hear my plea.
Do what you do, do faithfully.
Help her...help us, help her see...
and bring my mother home to me?

Light the candle.
Say a prayer.
Help her.
Help her be aware.
Tell her that he's waiting there...
and not to go so willingly.

Rose...I thank you...and I really do believe in the power of prayer. So if you could, just send a little love her way...when we buried our Dad? We buried our Mom. I want her back.

She is in my prayers. She needs to be needed...ask her to watch the kids for the weekend. Nothing gets a mom out of the doldrums like a couple of grandkids that love her!

Heart felt words,

love you KA
me

Well I looked to the sky for my anthem
The words and the music came through
But words and music can never touch
The beauty that I've seen in you

Karen, I've lit a candle for your Mum,  for you and your family, you are all in my prayers. Sending love your way.

And I agree with PDV, I think keeping her busy with the grand kids will help her feel needed.

Keep His Candle Lit
~*Marge Tindal*~

In the flicker of candle
there are two flames lit
One burns in memory
so others will not forget

One must maintain the vigil
to keep the memory aglow
For the one who waits
beyond the gate
watches the wick burn slow

Keep his memories
and light them well
Tell others of his glow
Tell his stories left to tell
before your wick burns low~

*Serenity~
As promised, for your Mom~

A prayer for you from me.  I hope that it's heard.  I know what this is like.  It's like losing a part of yourself.

You say it very well.

Serenity, Marge said it all, one candle burns as a reminder, the other to keep vigal, but keep your Mom busy (being a Gramma, I know), there is nothing nicer than to be needed when you are blue, and Sharon is right, ask her to watch while you go to the show or something, she will feel needed.   Hugs, and prayers to you all.
