Tiny drops of sadness Pour from out my heart Eroding sands of gladness Rivers form and part. I miss you like the air I breathe every day And sometimes I swear It just can't be that way. When we are apart, my love I'm filled with such dispair As though the heavens up above Did not contain the air. So when you see my tear-stained cheeks And taste my salty tears You'll know that minutes seem like weeks When I'm full of fears. Fears of losing you, fears of pain These fears when I'm alone That I will n'er see you again Never be truly home. My heart cries tears in oceans But they'll never reach the sea For they are just my emotions Getting the best of me. Knowlege tempered by wisdom...Wisdom tamed by youth. |
