Garden of the Mind To search the garden of the mind To seek the flower's please The velvet of the yesterday In softness of it's tease. Too shortened light, to lengthen night The loss of beauty's scene To search the garden of the mind A place to feel serene. The slightest breeze, that sways the thoughts As golden turns to brown Unfolding season's change of life Amidst the cricket's drown. The cycling prey in overhead The slightness of it's glide Arrests the moments in my view Till blue in silence hides. Just me, myself and I in still A trio all within The garden of the mind this eve An ending to begin. ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |

How beautifully and elegantly put. Wonderful writing If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |
