Do you remember when our love for each other pulsed like blood through our veins? How we cherished every moment together and clung onto each and every word we said Those heady nights when we lay in bed propped up on our pillows as we shared our hopes and our dreams and surrendered to our love We drifted off to sleep within the comfort of one anothers arms and we remained that way as the first light of dawn broke through We shared our dreams at daybreak and you finally found the love note I hid underneath your pillow You tossed me onto the bed and smothered me with kisses as you told me how much you loved me All the doubts and lack of love that had plagued my previous relationships disappeared the day I met you You opened up my eyes to true love as you made yourself completely at home within the confines of my heart I felt like a beautiful flowering bulb at the beginning of Spring as it breaks forth through the earth So strong and so full of life - yet so fragile You made me feel so alive as you tapped into the supply of my love and took up residence within my soul I shine just like a beacon Whenever you are near My limbs sometimes turn to jelly At the sound of your voice I hear I bloom within your presence As you lift me high above So crucial are you to my happiness As you surround me with your love This love I've found is so precious How I'll treasure it and watch it grow You mean more to me than anything I just wanted you to know Suetang |
