“Beneath The Surface”

Beneath the surface of my skin, there is a person many people never see,
The person full of ideas, potential, and possibilities.
Many people don’t know that beauty is only skin deep,
That’s why the would rather judge by appearance,
That to get to know the real me.
Most people seem to fear the unknown,
That’s why no attention is paid to the emotions I’ve shown.
Until people stop being shallow, they can stay in disbelief,
They will only see the surface but never witness what’s beneath

This is very true..People tend to judge you
by your appearance before even seeking what's
inside of you. You are an amazing writer and
I hope to someday be able to write as
good as you do.

thank you for the reply Rose... i never thought of myself as having any talent as far as writing was concerned. as a matter of fact i am so shy.. i dont show my work to anyone except for a few close friends....
