I had a dream a childhood dream to dance on my toes leap from the throes of a “Baryshnikov” master his passions on display all my fears to allay in the strength of his arms, the definition in his legs I would lift like a dove to the airy realm above a mist hovering over the floor to twirl and what’s more plie and jeté all night and all day plumaré as at play defy gravity at every turn yet something happened to my muse making all quite a ruse for from the days past the age of just two couldn’t bend like my friend on my top nor my end could find one ounce of flex ably won then as adolescence was keen engulfing the scene my heft went on and quite on though a Baryshnikov of great strength could try at great lengths gravitational pull would have won so to earth I am bound right side up or of down my pirouettes will only happen within in my dreams I may soar over hill, over moor and my heart could not lighter be how our dreams do assuage with the coming of age and reality of sinew or of brain ultimate change of course with not so much as remorse as we cede to the promise of strain other visions come our way filling well of our day as we aspire each one valiantly drinking in to our fill the joy, the thrill of a goal on horizon’s full sea actually, when I look back at a pic of me when 16, I look almost anorexic...percieved my self as chubby/fat long enough though to bring it about |

Enjoyed this V! A fun read, and wise too. (esp. liked vs 5 & 6) And hey, there's always the waltz . . . e |
