For a moment
you can see her—
The first spirit of evening.

Near the edge of the road
she stands
full-skirted in twilight
and chasing  wind from her hair.
Her  fingertips are light
as willow leaves brushing
time off the water’s scalp.

Quietly she bends;
her fabric creased
with the rhythm  of crickets,
her soft touch felt
by  the closing  eyelids
of each plant.

Petals fold up
drawing in
the coolness of her breath.
and  a spoken wish
to be loved
by  the man who wrote her poems.

His eyes watch,
ripen tenderly
in the blue mood
of plums and late summer.

You painted some marvelous images here, what a great way with words you have!
Excellent work here with a perfect picture~

Take care,

ahhhhhhhh
the lucid languid
sweetness
flower born
by buds

the morn'
of visions
of in love

captured quick
on eyelids

ahhhhhhhh
the tender
write
ripened
with hello

no vanish to
the fruits
of bliss

you know

debussy's reverie
plays in my heart....
your verse, in tune,
completed
awes
apart

ahhhhhhhh
your lines of poetry
dart hope inside my soul!

filled with dawned
quiescence,
morning told!!
