Streaming ribbons
Cascading light
Neath mossy willows
'Tis where she hides

Her shade of laurel
Mountain wreaths
Whisper in mystic
Of Echo's reprieve

Be thee not weary
Be thee not sad
Bring pure of heart
To the looking glass

Leave your voice softly
Step cool in esteem
The mystic of rainbows
Appear in the stream

Where there are voices
Found in the mist
Hush of the beauty
E'er flowing bliss

Bathe in the blankets
fresh in the sift
Magical fingers
Will lift thee adrift

Cry if thee will
The tide, due course
Through to the river
Of empty remorse

Find me in solace
Surge in my breath
The stones smooth
Cold, not of my death

I'll bring rays of light
Through yonder lace
Of yellow and orange
That doth grace my face

If ye will open
Clear eyes and see
The face of the Mystic
That feeds to the sea

RWood~
You have penned perfection here.
The imagery softly cascades~
Very, very pleasing~

The graphic is most appealing~

this is a very cool poem...
your succinct verses added to its mystic pleasures...as did the vocabulary.
And of course the imagery is its lovely centerpiece.
well done Regina...yet another style of poetry from you

very nice.. a change in ways for you from a style perspective..but still filled with the imagery I have come to appreciate from you..

mystical and yet... perhaps not so much so..if you look under a layer or two of potential meaning...

Such a thing lies in all of us..does it not?

I looked at this piece a long time trying to find my favorite line to put here in the comments.  They all worked so well I could not pick just one.  You have painted a clear picture of a place I would love to go to clear my eyes.

Death comes not when we cease to breathe, but when we cease to dream.
