Treasured memories of times spent with you, I'm always exhausted when our day is through, You always seem to know when I need you most, Your heart is the most welcoming of hosts. We met under diress a year ago today, Each hiding within our shells wishing it all away, Three days later sitting in the barn talking for hours, By the time dinner arrived, a friendly afternoon we had devoured. Within the month, the best of friends, We know each other will be there til the end. Lest we not forget our first common bond, A man of whom we are both quite fond. Thinking back down memory lane, So much I've grown, so much I've gained, Treasured memories, these are just the beginning, With friends like you, I'll always be winning. |

Such a nice tribute to a friendship. Lovely to read If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

Thank you all for your replies. I wrote this for my friends Lost Dreamer and Kelieth. I am so lucky to be able to call them my friends. Dawn [This message has been edited by DawnG (edited 09-05-2001).] |
