Without A Goodbye

Enjoying  promises
Swallowing whole
Down into my heart
Right into my soul

Far reaching once
Now sadly I yearn
I had been hoping
You would return

Until there one day
Some change I see
He was chewing
More pieces of me

Heart kept giving
More of the same
Now where is he
What was his game

Fool I have been  
A love unrequited
His words I loved
No longer sighted

The cunning tricks
So clever and sly
He had vanished
Without goodbye

Unrequited love, there's an awful lot of that out there. Very nicely written. I feel this one
Nice stuff coming out of Australia this morning.
