Labored Tribulations {Ode to Labor Day} Of Labor's love I'm at no loss to know a price, what it cost to bear witness, to bear child to bear all burdens small and great to all these things I can relate. On Labor Day there's celebration others now ending their vacation back to home go all relation but who shall stop to remember how this day came in September. A century plus, this day made known to honor those that daily groaned under auspice of socio-economic achievement by conflicted battles man's prowess went for not one man nor nation is this day meant. But forces vital of labor add to our living each man and woman who daily are giving so pay tribute to each one with vocation for making of this most splendid nation a land that deserves our elation. I shall salute then each of you, by flying the red, white and blue! 3 September, 1999 ©KRJ revised 3 September 2001 |

Thanks for making me think. Although it's Labour day, I only think of it as just another holiday. Thanks for the reminder If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

This is a trully great poem, should be in a news paper or something. A celebration of the human endeavour. |

And , currently, it's great for those who can celebrate that they have a job period! Good piece, Sunshine! |
