“IF TOMORROW NEVER CAME” by Bill Charles ~~~~ I lie here and ponder, about your thoughts, what we could do, if today would never end… Just think, a day that lasts forever more, and all of our cares, had time to mend… Would all of the caring, come back to each, the parts that have been lost, over the years… And the visions, that we once dreamed, were once again found, without the tears… The sun in the sky shining, even if it rained, and drops that fell on our faces, were tears of bliss… The darkest night, would never again show its face, for the day would never stop, just like my kiss… Today would be always, but will two hearts still yearn, with the very special softness, that I remember was there… If tomorrow never came, would you look into my eyes, and say how it might be, to once again care… ~~~~ [This message has been edited by Bill Charles (edited 09-03-2001).] |

Bill I see that the romance sure hasn't gone out of your poetry! Beautiful speculative images of a deeply close relationship!! Well done my friend! |

Would all of the caring, come back to each, the parts that have been lost, over the years… And the visions, that we once dreamed, were once again found, without the tears… Bill, if this was written for someone specific, she needs to read it, and then Dear Poet, the FEELING of the day would never end..... excellent write. May your dreams always dance to the rhythm of a lover's heartbeat... |

Bill, I think we all have wondered what might be if there was only to-day. Good writing. Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

This is so touching. So reflective. Tracey If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |
