A Heart In Need of Happiness

In my heart I don't think I'll ever forget her
yet my heart yearns for peace and happiness
and I know that neither will be mine
while my flesh longs for the soft touch of her fingertips and my lips still desire to taste the nectar from her luscious lips.
The joy I felt immersing myself in her beauty no longer exist's.
In it's place emptiness and loneliness in my heart coexist.
Some say go on and some say find another.
Believe me I would move on if my heart didn't hesitate
and I would love to find another when my heart is ready to cooperate.

And when you're heart is ready to co-operate, it will. Fickle things these hearts of ours. Hearts need time to heal and lick their wounds, and they will not be rushed. Thank you for sharing this this morning
