The man of poetry I did not know him I wish I could say The man so talked about Had come my way The man of poetry Truly an art He said so much Through all your hearts I commend you all In your wondrous tributes To a man of peace The words you distribute Come from the hearts Of all asking why I’m sorry for all of you Who have to say goodbye Cpalmer My prayers go out to all of you God is our inspiration; Words of the heart can be music to our ears |

I had only found out yesterday, and though I did not know him, I will remember him fondly as being gentle, kind and blessed with a gift of talent for writing- as I yet strive to achieve. I will definately miss his kind words of poetry and encouragement. |

Cindi~ The words the poet shared with us ... went far beyond the pages blue. E-mails of caring and understanding were also such a large part of Bill's persona. Cindi, Bill was a wonderful poet, and friend. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him in the "real" I have enjoyed him and writing with him at times. He will be missed by all. On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free. |
