Of My Serenity Within a fire burning low upon a meadow I have known the ember’s spark that takes twilight like fireflies into the night All around in shadowed tell the sound of crickets cast a spell across the hill’s the sound respires where moon has made her own empire The inn with bed pine canopy snuggled with just my sanity this place brings indigo insight into the searching of life’s fight I go into the summer’s day just knowing that at night I’ll lay within the dream I build for me the campfire of my serenity [This message has been edited by Martie (edited 09-01-2001).] |
