" Earth " , we implore you to nourish this seed . Grant it a path that one might follow true , held in your power o'er all of our creed , sustainer of life , pray guard this one too . Your names are many , invisible one , from faint-ness of zephyrs hurricanes rage . Let your swift currents be never undone , " Air " grant safe passage , strengthened in age . Giver of warmth , in your radiant glow our passion for life , a spark to your hue . " Fire " light your way , reflect kindly to show this seeker what lay out-spread before you . " Water " your depths hold the secret to life . Impart what is needed , returned anew . Salt tears in homage as death weilds his knife , shed in your honor when living is through . May these " Four " protect you all of your days that once again we shall meet down the ways |

DrMoose~ Oh ... now you just had to KNOW I'd enjoy this~ May the spirits/elements work in unison to teach us to cherish and maintain all~ Impart what is needed, returned anew. Salt tears in homage as death weilds his knife, shed in your honor when living is through. I so enjoyed this verse~ *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
