Silently, she stood on the cliff overlooking the ocean The sky outstretched it's arms to her as if calling her to leap To fly--to soar Her yearning to jump was overwhelming her every being There was no reason to live As she lleaned forward to launch lff the top Warm arms embraced her Tears streamed down her face--she was turned around and pulled towards a firm chest Her tears stopped as she looked up into blue eyes As if the heavens had come down and carved his every feature They pulled the blue from the Caribbean Sea and placed it in his eyes The golds and browns from fresh wheat was waved through his hair His chest was made of marble and was there to take a beating or tears Perfect--that was the only word that could be used for him He was a God in her eyes What was he doing to her heart? Her heart was beating double time as he lened in o kiss her He took her hurt in his warm arms and caressed it back to life Everything she wanted--everything she ever needed... What could the future hold now? She moved away from the cliff Took his hand and headed off into the sunset Love, Ladycat Live in my world just once and you'll find yourself enraptured. |

I agree that you tell the most wonderful stories, and it is a treat to have you here! Wish you could get here more often! This made me think of more than just what it said and more than just the whole leap of faith in love issue. I was thinking of all kinds of leaps of faith, but maybe my brain is just boggling a simple story? I love it either way, and realize it in all different ways. Don't gain my affections then cover my eyes. Don't sweep me off my feet then fail to catch me before I hit the floor. |
