Worth Wondering I lost my words of delicare of thoughts that drifted in the air held onto, penned on folder neat I lost my words, though incomplete... I find myself in wonderworth of pasttimes loving on this earth hold onto firsts, bound by the lasts I lost my words, those of contrasts... I sat there, then and watched them pass faces, young and old enmass holding pen to papered trail of word-thoughts mine, now raised like braille. What is the worth in wondering? Each beat of heart pounds, thundering to know a moment's kiss of feel. What is the worth of being real? I wondered loud when stopping 'fore and touched her smile, my sister's lore of future wish of when she's gone. What is the worth of morning's dawn? I left her moments to retrieve a cold stone wording yester eve. Father's presence, shoulder leaned until the calmness intervened. And left with moisture thoughts on cheeks I sit here now, where no one speaks. No words to hear, just solemnessed. Is this of worth, a heart expressed? ~Wynter forgive the made up words...couldn't find others to fit my need... A heart expressed is always of worth! I have never been that solomnessed that I couldn't express the feelings of my heart......Hey teach I love that one...maybe you'll start your own thesaurus.....Aside from that I think this is a beautiful write with a very talented poet's melancholy flavour all the way through!! |

whats to forgive? this is wonderful... creative and clever... thats the beauty of poetry..no fences can be put on our expressions... great use of metaphor and theme here too. you didnt lose your words...you found new ones  well done poetess wynter "oh you speak to me in riddles |

Oh E..was a day of wondering..a sister in need of a liver transplant talking about organizing her life before...death a visit to the cemetery a few days late of an anniversary...and wondering why some days, all I can do is write...and when will my life seem "normal" again..I use to believe there was such a word. and JM...thank you, I am thinking dates and the time some would think is wasted or I've wasted on the net...and why can't or how come or when will...just thoughts swirling keeping me wondering, always. ~Wynter "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |
