*Revised repost from Open #9* He had his whole life ahead of him Until the day he gave that life away When he woke up, he was in another place A place he didn't know or understand It was new to him, But somehow, he knew he belonged there She was the closest thing to an angel She'd never been here before, always been there Living knowing there would always be a tomorrow In a place that she would forever call home Until the day that she would be called to leave It was new to her, But somehow, she knew she belonged there They met and found a love for eternity Then came the day they both knew would come He didn't want her to go, but he knew This was the way that things had to be But it didn't mean that they had to like it It was new to them, But somehow, they knew they'd meet again He found that even though it was Heaven It wasn't the same without her there Spending the time alone, wondering if he'd see her again He knew what he had to do, he had to find her They wouldn't let him go, but he persuaded them It was new to him, But somehow, he knew he couldn't be without her So, they entered new lives, each one very different She married, divorced, lost her parents, ended alone He became a drifter, going from town to town, lost They each became successful, but something was missing The thing that they had been searching their entire lives for It was new to them, But somehow, they would find love Walking the streets not knowing where they were going They knew they would find what they wanted It made them look around, made them see He was about to be taken back when he saw her And they would love each other forever Was it new to them? Somehow, it was, and somehow. . . it wasn't ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Oh Sven, This is one of my favorite all time movies. "Made in Heaven" with Timothy Hutton and Kelly McGinnis. I could watch it a thousand times and still only come closer to believing that our soul mate IS made in Heaven. Even the song his character wrote in the movie "We've never Danced" is one of the most beautiful. Very wonderful portrayal of verse! I'm going to watch it again today! Sincerely, Regina |
