This one is just for fun. My "Personals" Ad I'm looking for a lover Who is tender, smart and kind I'm sure that he is out there And not just in my mind So if you see him walking Looking lost and out of place Send him to Alaska So I can look him in the face And ask a question or two Or maybe three questions will do Do you like to watch auroras? Are your feet and heart both warm? Are you gentle, kind, intelligent, forgiving, compassionate, romantic, poetic, honest, and can you cook? Do you leave the seat up or put it down, do you put the cap back on the toothpaste? Ok, so that's at least four questions, So maybe I'll need to know more Before I give you my heart Or my soul Or let my Jack Russell Terrier Kiss your face |

Thanks to all of you for reading. I'm sorry I didn't reply until today. This was a fun one that popped into my head after scanning some Personals (for fun) in a local paper. Glad you liked it. One response to it wasn't posted here, but via private email. That response generated another poem called Colors for Jaime, that I will post today. Kacy |
