as we danced to the

Our two souls were joined
as our time together
seemed to have no end

We danced on love's stage
and you kissed me with
such heartfelt passion
that my feel almost left the ground

How much I longed for this dream to be real
for your arms to be wrapped around me
for me to touch you
for you to see the want
and desire in my eyes

Maybe we were lovers in a past life
as we seem to know one another so well
And maybe one day I'll find
you loving me and me loving you
as our spirits are set free
and love claims the ownership
of our souls
