Through my words I lay out
my soul for all to see
as I allow you to catch a
glimpse inside my heart

Many times I have painted
a picture of romance set
underneath a starlit sky or
two lovers in front of
a roaring fireplace
Other times I may write about
a love that has died and
hearts that have been broken

I write of my love of nature and
of the many times I've spent
by the sea which is a
constant source of inspiration

But do you really know the real me?
Do you have an image in your mind
of the person I really am?

My words are truly an expression of
my hopes and dreams
my happiness and tears
my successes and failures
my fantasies and realities
But mostly my words portray
my feelings of love
which I believe are the
foundation for true happiness

The gift of love is truly
the most priceles thing we
could possibly bestow unto others
It is a gift to be nurtured
and cherished forever -
never to be taken for granted
