A Frog of Sighs Within my muddy pool of thoughts Lies a frog of many warts. Born within my distant vast. Mothered by a slipshod past. Circumstantial happenings Accessed from non essential springs Cultivated in the dark Hidden from the lighted arc. A bolt of lightening hit the pool And lit the frog his warts and rule Exposing all the past of ID Lighting all the bad I did. And now I see the well of things With all the painful hell it brings I see that road of tragedy With ugly warts perfidy The lighting made the thunder roar And opened up my own back door. |

Seymour~ What started out as pollywog Turned into a Syzmore frog Hopped along the edge of wrath Ribeting those who dared his path Hopped aboard a lily's float Stud-ly there, he did emote Nightly song of friggin' frog Drives me bonkers in the bog Went a' gigging, don't you see Froggie now out of misery ! ! Yummy-tummy, legs on plate NOW I say, "I can rel-ATE !" *Ya' just croak me up, froggie ! Lova ya~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
