Tribute to a Friend

To stand alone when others chagrin

To share your knowledge
When others would give in

To believe so deeply
And face challenges with a grin

To give so unselfishly
Of what you have within

To take time for others
When your world is at a fast spin

This is character
And I’m so pleased to call you friend

There is something very rare about you
You Give

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.
