Happy Memories I’m so sorry that you have a broken heart And that you feel so out of sort The pain of losing someone dear Always brings us so many tears But, trust me, the pain will go away. What’s left will be happy memories someday Just trust the Lord, cause He knows best And rejoice in the memories that bless You’ll soon remember the good times. These are the things to keep in mind |

From my own experience with grief and loss, the days do become brighter and you treasure your memories for the loved one you've lost and you must hold onto these precious memories tightly. Thank you for sharing this. Take care......Sue Suetang |

Time seems to be a healer for all things. This is a very well presented emotional poem and I enjoyed the writing! |

SEA, Yes, it takes awhile, but the sweet memories do replace the pain. Thanks for commenting. Suetang, I, too, have experienced the loss, and the hurt does ease in time. ethome, Time does heal. I’m glad you enjoyed. |
