An uneasiness has settled here,
it blew in on dark winds,
crept into the collective consciousness
and spread quickly throughout our homes;
an infestation of detestation
to shake our inner foundations.

What kind of rodent travels far from home,
lives within our shelter of sovereignty,
then chooses to systematically extinguish
the lives of his entire family?

What makes the rat go insane,
breed his own personal pestilence,
then burrow into the underground,
into the ****-sewer of his own making?

Be assured,
Nikolay,
with every resource at our command,
we’ll ferret your foul scent
until we hunt you down
like the vermin you are.

Doubtless he'll be found, probably dead. We're seeing more of this and will never have acceptable answers.

Thanks RS. This occurred 20 miles from where I live. It has the entire community in an uproar, and to add insult to injury, he's still at large as of this writing...

Thanks, Sven. Here it is, three days after it happened, and police still have not found him. He's on the FBI's most wanted listed now, too. Local police seem to think he's still in the Sacramento area.

Corinne, it is quiet sad when we now live in a world where the word "murder" fails to shock, it takes the murder of a child to really bring some home some truths. Powerful and very raw words.
