so many things i could have said
too proud to break down and cry as you bled
too noble to sink to your desolate plane
too fed up with sadness to join in your pain
too strong to let go of my anchor and float
into the storm to sink with your boat
too selfish to join you
too happy to cry
without me you can't live
but with you i die

Yes, the battle of misery loving company, when it is so hard to sink when you are enjoying life. Sometimes it's inevitable, when they have to hit rock bottom before they allow you to help them up. Very well done.
