Far from myself
I've loooked for you
You remain hidden
distance from me
Occasionally you
show yourself
Unwanted masks
that lie
Sudden changes
that accomplish nothing
but loneliness
And everytime you remember me
and come back
you leave me
with less pride

This is so sad, but only we can figure out why we repeat negative patterns of behavior and why we allow others to do the same at our expense. Funny thing, it just keeps happening until WE LEARN. Thanks for the ponder. Enjoyed.
