Just the words "I know that you love me..."
is an implication of great magnitude. And sometimes the knowing is all that we get in return...I will be reading more of your work.

nicely done... deeeper understandings seemingly expressed in the simple phrase " I know you love me" add the element of understatement to this piece,leaving the reader to draw from it their own conclusions...

I enoyed!!!

Duncan, I enjoyed reading this. Brings home the fact that unspoken and not shown doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm loved even if I don't hear it....

You do? I'm teasing, I liked the innocence in this, it made me remember when my daughter would bring me flowers..wildflowers and offer them with her great big ole smile.....love remembering that!
