A wild heart, or so it seems Taming the beast within my dreams. Twisted sheets drenched in sweat As I hurriedly swing my wild heart net. He suddenly turns to chase after me My tame heart he wants to see. I stumble and fall, rolling downhill And he grabs me finally for the kill. Deep within our eyes did meet Feeling my heart and legs grow weak. Eyes of fire, they burned my soul He tossed my heart into a bowl. I no longer try to tame the heart Of the wild beast who has me marked. My sheets still twisted every night He keeps me sweating til morning light. |
