one night I came upon a man
whose name I could not speak
he was the man for many moons
that I had come to seek
a soul mate you could say,
someone I could truly relate
the very essence of my being,
this man was my soul mate

he stood before me smiling
as only a soul mate can
before me was my true love,
this was my only man
his every word I hung to,
the expressions on his face
he was surely heaven sent,
I could tell by his very grace

this man so tender with his thoughts
and loving with his touch
my one and only true love,
the one I love so much

It's been many, many moons now,
so many I've lost track
so many times I've journeyed
to the moon and back
but still I have my soul mate,
still true to only I
the man that stood before me long ago
my soul mate bye the bye

So you are saying that soul mates really do exist? Its funny because I can remember at one time when I was just looking for a woman and now I do find myself thinking more of a soulmate...one just for me...not sure if one is around...James

I hope I find my soulmate one day.. shes out there... looking for me.. i believe this is true for everyone, we are all somebody else's soulmate
