Where no tyranny is tolerable

Sleep

1:
I found you
in my dreams,
in a place of weightless floating
where I somehow new
that you would be.
To sooth my pain
you came to me,
you tall,
you lush and gentle amazon,
hauntingly, impossibly beautiful;
and I was nude.

2:
You told me that you knew me,
Knew of my passion, longing and desire.
You said that you had met me years ago.
You kept insisting that you knew me,
that you KNEW me.
You kept insisting
it was I who had not notieced
or could not remember.
and you kept saying
that one day I finally would.

3:
You came to me.
With strong and gentle arms
you TOOK me,
and you were nude,
and no one ever came to me like that!
You thrust a scrap of paper
in my hand,
left a long and gentle kiss
upon my mouth,
then, vannishing,
you woke me,
and my eyes
were filled with tears.

Jaime

Jaime~
Very nicely done~
Sort of a longing that doesn't go away~
You touched it gently~

Extemely passionate. You have a lovely writing style and are very poetic in your description of this other person: "amazon". Beautiful.

Jaime that was terrific, you described the woman so perfectly that I could imagine her.
