   In Fall

I shall
watch you
as leaves
in fall
tumble
to ground
green
they recall

flirting
between limbs
harsh
wind brushes
silently disassembling
secure tree
hushes

sap stopped
in nocturnal
sleep
leaves pile
freely
careless heap

"...the rest is silence" (Hamlet)  Shakespeare

green
they recall...

Like the desert misses the rain, to borrow a phrase.

like the abstract quality of these lines.. leaving the reader to think and draw from it what they can... a leap in the way one might normally draw conclusions..they stand out in this poem..

I enjoyed

Spring and Fall are my favourite seasons, and I love your imagery in this, a great tribute to Autumn

Take care,
Melissa~
