Tempest

Woe
To the claustrophobic mind
That shuts all out
But what it finds in kind

Billowing and peaceful clouds
Hold a tempest within

Paranoiac fear to hide
Look at all you have locked outside

I say
There are no honest smiles
Without first tears
Comfort yourself
For all of the lost years

Make haste
You lonesome love
Your past
Is the unknown
Your path
Is your own

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.

Yes, "your path is your own."
Well writ indeed.
