"MoonShadow's Sonnet" I pray the moon will greet me in the night, and pass its lovely shadow down below, to cloak me with a mantle of star light and warm me with its pale and waning glow. I seek the soothing shadow of the moon, so drawn to awesome beauty in a trance. I hear a haunting melody and tune. My soul weaves to a fro, like in a dance. We blend togehter well, the Moon and I, till we are almost one in love's embrace. A mutual attraction, Earth and Sky, together, arm in arm and face to face. My soul will be content like nights before, enfolded by MoonShadow ever more. |

Sonnets are so difficult to write. And writing them well twice so. Very good. |

MoonShadow~ 'We blend togehter well, the Moon and I, till we are almost one in love's embrace. A mutual attraction, Earth and Sky, together, arm in arm and face to face.' Very nicely done. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Lovely, I think you should change the title and print this out, as Sonnet for the Moon.. I feel just this way about the moon, you have captured it perfectly, and with great style. Sandra |
