Ron’s Sword

He dabbles in discourse, a new pastime,
perfecting form,
engaging end, internal and near rhyme,
words to transform
all pandemonium into reason,
to turn away darkness of the season;
rain from the soul,
repairing holes
made thirsty by the heart’s treason.

Thanks, Sey and Sven - This form was introduced in another poetry forum, and after reading several other poems done in this form, I wanted to give it a go.

Called the Ronsardian Ode, it can be of any length, providing each stanza is nine lineslong with rhyme scheme, ababccddc, and varies in line length begtween 10 syllables and 4 syllables, in specific order. The last line is 8 syllables.
