Tarp

Wait a few minutes,
outside.
Between two buildings
on the brick ledge- there.
Look at the tree,
it’s base is wrapped in a tarp,
the sky is getting dark
like its going to rain.
Or come in now.
It wouldn’t really matter,
either way,
if you wait a few minutes
or come in now.
It’s going to rain.
