Come sit with me in thoughts alone Here atop boulders of stone Accompany me in this daydream And toss or flip a shell or three Into the waves of deep blue sea Innocence is easily stripped And other times can erode away Like remembrances of times ago When I believed love would never go So here I am with foot in sand As I contemplate the choice I make And to my discovery quite unexpectedly New love is found by friend of mine Who does understand the essence of my being Within his arms he brings me calm And banishes all pain and worry True happiness is found with him no hurt or fist of fury While beads of water amuse and tickle Beneath the soles of both my feet I gaze towards shell crushed shores As a breeze of warm is comforting me I now decide to take a chance Embark the path of new romance Like destiny of tides at sea in unison just he and me On this day of daydream thoughts Sitting on stone the time has come To say farewell to you, my past And the memory be now outcast... *~ coco ~*  [This message has been edited by CocoBaci (edited 08-17-2001).] |

Ohhhhhhhh what a sweet sweet post this is. So nice to see that someone has captured the heart of one of the sweetest poets I know. This reads of the heart with a flow and longevity of pure love. So well written and so beautifully composed. |
